Overview
In 2023, The People Choreographer (TPC) partnered with Stairways Midlands Ltd, timber door and staircase manufacturers, to improve engagement, productivity and quality.
Joint managing director Karen Wood knew engagement needed enhancement and had ideas for improvement, but there was uncertainty about where to start. That's where TPC stepped in, beginning with a thorough understanding of Stairways' specific challenges and collaboratively identifying priorities.

The results
Over nine months: enhanced engagement and morale, clarity in roles and fair pay structures, an updated suite of HR documentation, and empowered managers reducing sickness absence.
